Main ferry routes

Thassos is connected to the mainland by two regular ferry services. Schedules and prices vary by season and operator, so always confirm before travelling.

Keramoti ⇆ Thassos (Limenas)

Approx. 35–40 minutes

The shortest crossing to Thassos; ideal for most visitors.

Kavala ⇆ Prinos

Approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

A convenient alternative, especially for travellers coming from the west.

Travel tips

Book early in peak season

July and August are busy. Reserve your ferry tickets and accommodation well ahead to secure your preferred dates.

Arrive at the port early

Be at the terminal at least 30–60 minutes before departure, especially if you are travelling with a vehicle.
